Site License v.s. Course License
Harmonia has two types of license available for each course. During the Preparation stage of a course, you can select the license type you want to apply by visiting the course's Course Settings page.
Site License
If your school already obtained a site license from Harmonia, select School Purchases Site License in the Course settings page.
On the same page, if you already have site license code(s) in hand, enter them in the Site License Code field.
If you do not have the license code available, simply leave the Site License Code blank. During the activation process, Harmonia staff will communicate with you to get it set up.
Students enrolled in a course which uses Site License do not have to pay for the Course content access.
Course License
If your school does not plan on purchasing a site license, select the Student Purchases Course License option on the Course settings page. The price this license is based on the length of the course you entered in the Course settings page.
By default, your students will be expected to pay for the course as part of their registration process, but you may allow a free grace period during which students can access all the course content without having to pay up front. The length of this grace period is customizable by you, upto a maximum of two weeks after the start date of the course or 1/4 of the course, whichever comes first. You can change this ending date of the grace period to an earlier date in the Course settings page. Note that students may be reminded by Harmonia to purchase their course license during the free access period. If a student fails to do so, then after the grace period his or her access to the course content will be temporarily blocked until the license is purchased.
